Moving a business is even more hassle than moving a home, because of the number of people involved and the potential losses to production. One of the ways to help make office moves easier would be to inform everybody of the move in advance. A company meeting would be the perfect forum for this announcement. This way questions from your staff can be entertained and concerns appeased. Informing people early also give them time to map out their tasks so that when the move comes, there will be minimal losses to the company. You should also hire movers that are used to moving office equipment, especially if you have special machines that need some extra care. Specialty movers have better insurance, thus protecting your equipment, but more than that, more experience so that your stuff is safe when you get to your new office space.
