Not the color of the house, green construction is what we mean. This is the current trend in the housing and development market where buildings and other development projects are going green from the ground up. Most houses have been re-fitted but the ones that use the best green materials offer the best sustainability factor in the future.
Don’t get it all wrong, green homes do get a lot of discounts from taxes and other government fees but they do cost a lot more (for now) that ordinary houses for one main reason, technology is evolving so quickly that the materials being incorporated into these houses are some of the newest materials science can produce. Houses with Energy Star certification proves the house is built ground up using green technology. Ask the developer for such issues so you get what you pay for.
